• Help with establishing feeding, whatever method you choose. Caring Doulas has considerable experience and training in breastfeeding to support you to have as positive an experience as possible.
• Emotional support, a non-intrusive, non-judgemental listening ear.
• Practical help with your other children and with any sibling rivalry issues that may arise.
• Advice regarding the practical aspects of caring for your baby.
• Preparation of simple meals, ensuring you are all fed and watered.
• Help you catch up on sleep or have a relaxing bath.
• Light housework.
• Answering the phone and following your requests in fielding visitors.
• Accompanying you on shopping trips.
• Any other reasonable request by arrangement, i.e. babysitting.

Fees

Caring Doulas offer an introductory visit, which is free of charge to discuss our future relationship, your needs and services offered. Charges thereafter are by the hour; please contact Caring Doulas for latest hourly rate.

No charge is made for visiting within 5 miles of Hinchley Wood in Esher and then 40p per mile above that and for any miles undertaken on your behalf e.g. school runs, shopping. Caring Doulas may need to charge for travelling time for clients who live outside my local area.

Payment terms

A non refundable deposit is required when booking to cover the initial 2 weeks of our agreed working hours.

Further payments are normally paid in advance every 2 weeks once we have started our arrangement.

Payment is by cheque or cash.
