About Caring Doulas
I have two wonderful daughters of 17 and 20 years old and a very supportive husband. I live in Esher in Surrey. My reason for becoming a Doula and for choosing the name Caring Doulas is that I've been a health visitor for over 20 years and I have loved being there to support and enable my families. I have always seen the practical aspects of making a mum a sandwich or giving babe a cuddle so she can go to the bathroom in peace as part of my role, unfortunately with such severe staff shortages this has not been possible and I didn't have the time I would have liked to listen and care. | As a Doula I am not there as a medical professional or to take charge, but to listen and support you in whatever way you need while you gain confidence as a new family. Babies don't come with a set of instructions and they are wonderfully all individuals, and this can be a bit daunting at first! I hope to share my experience to enable you to relax and cherish those first early weeks.
